Dr. Nikki Snipes is a native of Vernon, Alabama. She is married to Nat Snipes and mom to Sydney and Sawyer. They share their home with Herman and Rosie, both rescued pups, and Spiderman the Kitty.
Dr. Snipes graduated from Mississippi State University with her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2002. In her off time she enjoys camping and traveling with her family and working in her yard. Professionally, Dr. Snipes enjoys preventative pet health care, the human-animal bond, and challenging internal medicine cases.
Dr. Kristy Clopton moved to the Shoals in 2008 on the advice of her vet school classmate, Dr. Snipes.
A native of Mississippi and a 2002 graduate of Mississippi State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Clopton spent her first 6 years of practice in a busy mixed animal veterinary hospital in Central Florida. Dr. Clopton's favorite parts of veterinary practice are critical cases and dentistry. Outside of work, she enjoys camping and tailgating with James and Olivia in their RV.
Erica Coman joined our team in June of 2012. She has almost 20 years experience working with animals from helping her mom care for shelter animals during her childhood to spending most of her adult life working in a veterinary clinic. Erica lives in Muscle Shoals with her husband Marlo and kids, Tori and Ty. She has 3 pups that she adores, Karmie, Jazzy, and Oscar and a mean little kitty named Fonzi Earl. Erica spends most of her free time at her son's sporting events, working in her yard, or cuddling with her critters.
Kristen Epping became a member of the SAH family in July 2012. She will graduate in December 2019 with a Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology. Kristen has 2 adorable kitties, Rajah and Oscar, 2 German Shepherds, Bullet and Mocha, and a Beta Fish named Arthur. When not at work or school, she and her boyfriend Matthew enjoy going to car events, playing video games, and spending time with family and friends.
Amy Jaynes came to work with us in June of 2013. She has a 16 year old daughter and together they take care of their 3 precious dogs, Radar, Lucy, and Cocoa and also a Bearded Dragon named Hermione. In her off time, Amy enjoys running and spending time with her daughter, family, and friends.
Jodi Harris-Lantz joined us in February 2018. With her she brings 16 years experience as a Vet Tech and is currently enrolled to become a Licensed Veterinarian Technician. Jodi is married and has a 17 year old daughter. They have their hands full with 4 dogs, 8 cats, 4 horses, a Bearded Dragon, and a Water Dragon. When not busy with her crew, Jodi enjoys photography, horseback riding, and time with family and friends.
Chelsea Kilpatrick is our newest technician joining us in July 2019. She attended NWSCC on a cheerleading scholarship and also attended Animal Behavioral College. In her free time, Chelsea enjoys being with her family, friends, Nathan her boyfriend, and her 4 pups, Zoey, Teagan, Houston, Sadie.
Tiffany Williams rejoined our team for the 2nd time in October 2018. When she is not here taking care of our clients, her world revolves around her daughter Ava and husband Chris. Tiffany has a sweet 10 year old kitty named Hotrod.
Ann Wilson also rejoined our team for the 2nd time in April 2019. She has been married for many years to her husband, Tony and they have a 16 year old son, Charlie and a kitty named Obie. Ann enjoys spending her off time with family and reading a good book.
Angela Lash joined SAH in October 2017. She has lots of love for all the pups and kitties and has 8 dogs of her own, Bella, Bowser, Fancy, Bugsy, Tarzan, Tinker, Honey, and Stumpy. She also has a cat named Bandit and a rabbit she calls Buttercup. When not here caring for our patients, Angela loves to be with her family, friends, and animals.
Rebekah Samuelson came to work with us in August 2018. She is currently a Biology major with a Pre-Veterinarian concentration at UNA. She would like to open her own Veterinary Practice one day. When Rebekah has free time she enjoys exploring the outdoors, fishing, photography, and being with friends and family.
Brionna Reed is our newest Animal Care Tech, joining us in April 2019. She has always been an animal lover and shares her home with 1 dog, 3 cats, and a bearded dragon. Her life revolves around her mom, her sister, and her animals. When Bri is not here loving and caring for our precious patients, she loves to snuggle with her cats and take her bearded dragon to the park.
